Desktop Client Setup
You can add a file on your desktop and share them. You can keep all the files synced through File Sync and Share.
Initial Setup
- Login to File Sync and Share dashboard
- Click on User icon on the top right corner > Click Download Sync clients
- You can choose which download to use depending on the OS you have
- Once the application is downloaded, install the application.
- Once the installation complete, it is time to register the Workload.
- Click on “Register Workload” to register the system automatically.
If there are any issues, click on “Show Registration info” to copy the registration link and the registration code, so that the process and be manually done.
Once the registration is complete, you can see the options to select the folder on the local system that need to be synced.
Once the setup is complete successfully, you’ll get the following message.
After Client setup
After configuring the client, it will automatically sync all the data to the selected folder. To stop syncing, open the “Cyber Protector Monitor” on your device and click on “Stop sync”
To open the current Sync folder, click on “Local sync folder”
By clicking on the settings menu, you will see the option to login to your web console and can view the amount of disk used.
To change the sync folder path, click on Settings Icon >> Settings >> Sync >> Local sync folder here >> change.
