Unmetered bandwidth is a common terminology that refers to the amount of data that can be transferred from you, and your web applications to your visitors. Each visit will use a certain amount of bandwidth based on what they’ve viewed and potentially downloaded.

When a plan offers unmetered bandwidth, there effectively is no limits of the amount of data that can be transferred between your site and the visitor in any given month.

With these unmetered plans, we balance those against our Fair Use Policies. When Fair Use Policies are taken in to account, it is normally to indicate that your application may be using excessive amounts of resources overall on a consistent basis and that such usage itself could be affecting other clients or the stability of the hosting platform.

These situations are very rare but will indicate that the plan you are using may not be appropriate for your regular and ongoing needs and we will reach out to let you know that a more suitable plan should be selected.
