The following terminology is used for domains and their respective status:
Pending – This is when an order has been placed but not accepted yet. This will apply both for new registrations and transfers.
Pending Transfer – This is when the transfer of the domain is in progress but has not been completed and the domain has not been moved over to FullHost.
Active – The normal status when a domain is registered and valid/active.
Grace Period (Expired) – After a domain has expired, there are two additional timeframes generally for domains that are still available for you to renew them. The Grace Period is after the domain has expired but allows you to still renew the domain with only the renewal fee.
Redemption Period (Expired) – The second period of time after a domain has expired. With a Grace Period, this is a simple renewal after the fact. When a domain goes in to redemption period, this is the last opportunity for you to renew the domain before it’s generally available to the public. Additional fees may be levied for this process.
Expired – The domain has lapsed and is no longer registered to you.
Transferred Away – The domain was transferred away to another registrar.
Cancelled – A domain was attempted to be purchased or transferred but was stopped and did not proceed.
Fraud – An order was placed that triggered our risk/fraud system from preventing the purchase/transfer.
