cPanel only supports one SFTP account per cPanel. This FTP account is created by default and has the same username and password as your cPanel. The root directory of this FTP account is /home/username folder.

 

SFTP details (For reseller and elastic hosting)

  • Host: The IP address or the name of your website, such as ftp.example.com (replace example.com with your website address).
  • Username: Your Cpanel username.
  • FTP Port: 2222 (SSH port).
  • FTP Password: Your cPanel Password.
