Before adding the addon domain, point your addon domain nameservers to your primary domain nameservers and wait for domain propagation. It usually takes between 12 and 24 hours for the changes to take effect.
1. Log in to your cPanel account.
2. In the Domains section, click on Domains.
3. Click on Create a New Domain button on the right-hand side.
4. Enter the addon domain name to add in the Domain text box. Deselect the Share document root (/home/username/public_html) with “domain.tld option. Enter the directory where you want the addon domain files to exist. The Subdomain field will autofill, and you can keep it as it is.
5. Click Submit
You should see a message that the new domain has been created.
